Are you interested in seeing science from above? Curious to see what impact one single person or invention can have? Keen to find pockets of innovation? Desperate for better tools to manage the information flood? Or are you simply fascinated by maps? Then plan to visit the Places & Spaces: Mapping Science exhibit which will be on display at Discovery Park, University of North Texas from September 30, 2011 through January 24, 2012.

Scientists will be stimulated, students and teachers encouraged, and the general public fascinated by this multi-layered accessible approach to the worlds of modern scientific thought. The display features the first seven of ten sets of maps of the Places & Spaces exhibit. Also on display will be: Illuminated Diagram displays by W. Bradford Paley, Kevin Boyack, John Burgoon, Peter Kennard, and Richard Klavans and WorldProcessor globes by Ingo Günther.
